The parish of Sts. Peter & Paul (Singapore) will carry out the Corpus Christi Procession within the carpark grounds of the church on Saturday 2nd June immediately after the 5:30pm Mass.
After the procession, the choir will accompany the faithful with Sacred Polyphony in the church before the over-night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament commences from 8pm.
Some of the highlights of the repertoire by the choir for that evening will be as follows:
- Lauda Sion (Caudana)
- Lauda Sion Salvatorem (simple tone, chant)
- Salve Regina (solemn tone)
- Ave Verum Corpus (Mozart)
- My Song Is Love Unknown (Williams)
- Panis Angelicus (Lambilotte)
And a few others.
To follow parts of the Liturgy as well as the procession, please take a copy of the missalette at the entrance of the church, or if copies run out, feel free to download the PDF: Corpus Christi Missalette 2018 (Congregation)
We wish you all a blessed weekend.
As the Carmelite Solemnity of Our Lady of Mount Carmel approaches, here’s an ancient chant that was of the old monastic order of the Carmelites.
Translations in English are found in the music sheet for the Chant Notation.
